﴿وَلَوۡ تَرَىٰٓ إِذۡ يَتَوَفَّى ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ ٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ يَضۡرِبُونَ وُجُوهَهُمۡ وَأَدۡبَٰرَهُمۡ وَذُوقُواْ عَذَابَ ٱلۡحَرِيقِ ﴾
[الأنفَال: 50]
﴿ولو ترى إذ يتوفى الذين كفروا الملائكة يضربون وجوههم وأدبارهم وذوقوا عذاب﴾ [الأنفَال: 50]
| Abdel Haleem If only you [Prophet] could see, when the angels take the souls of the disbelievers, how they strike their faces and backs: it will be said, ‘Taste the punishment of the Fire |
| Abdul Hye And if you could only see when the angels were taking away souls (at death) of those who disbelieve! They were smiting their faces and their backs, (saying): “Taste the punishment of the blazing fire |
