Dr Kamal Omar Behold! Verily, to Allah belongs whosoever is in the heavens and whosoever is on the earth. And do not obey those who invoke besides Allah, the partners. They do not obey except conjecture and nothing they (do) but they harbour delusions |
Dr Laleh Bakhtiar No doubt to God belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in and on the earth. And follow not those who call to ascribed associates other than God. They follow nothing but opinion and they do nothing but guess |
Dr Munir Munshey Beware! Everyone in the heavens and on the earth belongs to Allah! Those calling others besides Allah are not following any ´partners´ (of Allah). They merely run with their assumptions. They only indulge in conjectures |
Edward Henry Palmer Is not, verily, whoever is in the heavens and whoever is in the earth God's? What then do they follow who call on associates other than God? Verily, they follow nothing but suspicion, and verily, they are telling naught but lies |
Farook Malik Be aware! Indeed whatever is in the Heavens and in the Earth belongs to Allah. Those who invoke other deities besides Allah follow nothing but conjectures and preach nothing but falsehood |
George Sale Is not whoever dwelleth in heaven and on earth, subject unto God? What therefore do they follow, who invoke idols, besides God? They follow nothing but a vain opinion; and they only utter lies |
Maududi Verily whoever dwells in the heavens or the earth belongs to Allah. Those who invoke others beside Allah, associating them with Him in His divinity, only follow conjectures and are merely guessing |
