﴿فَلَا تَحۡسَبَنَّ ٱللَّهَ مُخۡلِفَ وَعۡدِهِۦ رُسُلَهُۥٓۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَزِيزٞ ذُو ٱنتِقَامٖ ﴾
[إبراهِيم: 47]
﴿فلا تحسبن الله مخلف وعده رسله إن الله عزيز ذو انتقام﴾ [إبراهِيم: 47]
Dr Kamal Omar Then you must not regard Allah (as One) Who defies His (Own) Promise done to His Messengers. Surely, Allah is All-Mighty, Capable of tahead of state retribution |
Dr Laleh Bakhtiar So assume not that God will be one who breaks His promise to His Messengers. Truly, God is Almighty, Possessor of Requital |
Dr Munir Munshey Do not even doubt that Allah can ever breach His promise with the messengers. Indeed, Allah is Exalted in Power, the Lord of Revenge |
Edward Henry Palmer Think then not indeed that God fails in his promise to his apostles;- verily, God is mighty, the Lord of vengeance |
Farook Malik Never think that Allah will break the promise which He made to His Rasools: surely Allah is Mighty in power, the Lord of Retribution |

Maududi So, do not think, (O Prophet), that Allah will go back upon His promise to His Messengers. Surely Allah is Mighty, Lord of retribution |
