﴿إِلَٰهُكُمۡ إِلَٰهٞ وَٰحِدٞۚ فَٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ بِٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ قُلُوبُهُم مُّنكِرَةٞ وَهُم مُّسۡتَكۡبِرُونَ ﴾
[النَّحل: 22]
﴿إلهكم إله واحد فالذين لا يؤمنون بالآخرة قلوبهم منكرة وهم مستكبرون﴾ [النَّحل: 22]
| Dr Kamal Omar Your ilah is One Ilah (God). So those who do not believe in the Hereafter: their hearts are those which deny and they are those who feel pride out of arrogance |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar Your God is One God. But for those who believe not in the world to come, their hearts are ones that know not and they are ones who grow arrogant |
| Dr Munir Munshey Your God is only One God. Those who do not believe in the life-to-come are arrogant. Their hearts are steeped in denial |
