﴿وَيَعۡبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ مَا لَا يَمۡلِكُ لَهُمۡ رِزۡقٗا مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ شَيۡـٔٗا وَلَا يَسۡتَطِيعُونَ ﴾
[النَّحل: 73]
﴿ويعبدون من دون الله ما لا يملك لهم رزقا من السموات والأرض﴾ [النَّحل: 73]
| Dr Kamal Omar And they worship besides Allah that who does not own any provision for them from the heavens and the earth; and they have no capacity (to own or sanction provisions) |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar They worship other than God what has no sway, no power to provide for them anything from the heavens and the earth, nor are they able to do so |
| Dr Munir Munshey And they worship others besides Allah __ those who do not provide any subsistence from the heavens or the earth. Nor do they have any such power |

| Maududi and worship instead of Allah, those helpless beings who have no control over providing them any sustenance from the heavens and the earth; do you worship those who have no power to do anything of this sort |
