﴿وَأَلۡقَوۡاْ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ يَوۡمَئِذٍ ٱلسَّلَمَۖ وَضَلَّ عَنۡهُم مَّا كَانُواْ يَفۡتَرُونَ ﴾
[النَّحل: 87]
﴿وألقوا إلى الله يومئذ السلم وضل عنهم ما كانوا يفترون﴾ [النَّحل: 87]
| Dr Kamal Omar And they offered to Allah, this Day, full submission (in Islam). And vanished from them what they had been inventing in falsehood |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar They will give a proposal to God on that day of surrender. Gone astray from them will be what they had been devising |
| Dr Munir Munshey On that day, they will extend an offer of peace towards Allah. The lies they used to invent will fritter away |
| Edward Henry Palmer And they shall proffer on that day peace unto God; and that which they had devised shall stray away from them |
| Farook Malik They shall tender their submission to Allah that Day: and the gods of their own inventions will leave them in the lurch |
| George Sale And on that day shall the wicked offer submission unto God; and the false deities which they imagined shall abandon them |
| Maududi On that Day they will offer their submission and all that they had fabricated will have vanished |
