﴿إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يَكۡتُمُونَ مَآ أَنزَلۡنَا مِنَ ٱلۡبَيِّنَٰتِ وَٱلۡهُدَىٰ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ مَا بَيَّنَّٰهُ لِلنَّاسِ فِي ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ يَلۡعَنُهُمُ ٱللَّهُ وَيَلۡعَنُهُمُ ٱللَّٰعِنُونَ ﴾
[البَقَرَة: 159]
﴿إن الذين يكتمون ما أنـزلنا من البينات والهدى من بعد ما بيناه﴾ [البَقَرَة: 159]
| Dr Kamal Omar Verily, those who conceal what We have sent down from the clear signs and guidance after what We explained for mankind in Al-Kitab — such are the people Allah curses them and curse them those entitled to curse — |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar Truly, those who keep back what We caused to descend of the clear portents and the guidance, after We made it manifest to humanity in the Book—those, God curses them and the ones who curse, curse them |
| Dr Munir Munshey Indeed, Allah has cursed _ and others entitled to curse also curse _ those who hide the proofs and the guidance We have revealed; (especially) since We explained to the people so clearly in the scriptures |

| Maududi Indeed Allah curses, and the cursers, too, curse those who conceal the clear teachings and guidance We have sent down, after We have made these plain in the Book for the guidance of all mankind |
