﴿يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ كُلُواْ مِن طَيِّبَٰتِ مَا رَزَقۡنَٰكُمۡ وَٱشۡكُرُواْ لِلَّهِ إِن كُنتُمۡ إِيَّاهُ تَعۡبُدُونَ ﴾
[البَقَرَة: 172]
﴿ياأيها الذين آمنوا كلوا من طيبات ما رزقناكم واشكروا لله إن كنتم﴾ [البَقَرَة: 172]
| Dr Kamal Omar O you who have Believed! Eat of the palatable things what We have provided to you and be grateful to Allah if it is Him you pay obedience |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar O those who believed! Eat of what is good that We provided you and give thanks to God if it had been He alone whom you worship |
| Dr Munir Munshey Oh you who believe! Eat the wholesome things that We have granted you as sustenance. Show your gratitude to Allah, if it is He (alone) Whom you worship |
| Edward Henry Palmer O ye who do believe! eat of the good things wherewith we have provided you, and give thanks unto God if it be Him ye serve |
| Farook Malik O believers! Eat the clean things which We have provided you and give thanks to Allah, if you worship only Him |
| George Sale O true believers, eat of the good things which we have bestowed on you for food, and return thanks unto God, if ye serve him |
| Maududi O Believers, if you are true worshippers of Allah alone, eat without hesitation of the good and clean things wherewith We have provided you and be grateful to Allah. ° |
