﴿وَقَٰتِلُواْ فِي سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلَّذِينَ يُقَٰتِلُونَكُمۡ وَلَا تَعۡتَدُوٓاْۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ ٱلۡمُعۡتَدِينَ ﴾
[البَقَرَة: 190]
﴿وقاتلوا في سبيل الله الذين يقاتلونكم ولا تعتدوا إن الله لا يحب﴾ [البَقَرَة: 190]
| Dr Kamal Omar And fight to kill, in the Cause of Allah, those who fight you to kill and do not transgress the limits (of justice and retribution). Certainly Allah does not like those who cross the limits |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar And fight in the Way of God those who fight you, but exceed not the limits. Truly, God loves not the ones who exceed the limits |
| Dr Munir Munshey In the path of Allah, fight those who wage a war against you. But do not exceed the limit. Indeed, Allah does not like the transgressors |
