﴿إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَٱلَّذِينَ هَاجَرُواْ وَجَٰهَدُواْ فِي سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ يَرۡجُونَ رَحۡمَتَ ٱللَّهِۚ وَٱللَّهُ غَفُورٞ رَّحِيمٞ ﴾
[البَقَرَة: 218]
﴿إن الذين آمنوا والذين هاجروا وجاهدوا في سبيل الله أولئك يرجون رحمة﴾ [البَقَرَة: 218]
| Dr Kamal Omar Verily, those who have Believed and those who migrated and did Jihad in the cause of Allah — all these expect the mercy of Allah. And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, continuously Merciful |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar Truly, those who believed and those who emigrated and struggled in the way of God, those hope for the mercy of God. And God is Forgiving, Compassionate |
| Dr Munir Munshey (Conversely), those who believe, and those who migrate and strive hard for the sake of Allah, actually (deserve and) look forward to Allah´s mercy. And (of course) Allah is the most Forgiving, and the most Merciful |
