﴿فَٱتَّخَذۡتُمُوهُمۡ سِخۡرِيًّا حَتَّىٰٓ أَنسَوۡكُمۡ ذِكۡرِي وَكُنتُم مِّنۡهُمۡ تَضۡحَكُونَ ﴾
[المؤمنُون: 110]
﴿فاتخذتموهم سخريا حتى أنسوكم ذكري وكنتم منهم تضحكون﴾ [المؤمنُون: 110]
| Dr Kamal Omar But you took them for a laughing stock (and you continued long sessions of such jest and mockery) until they made you forget My Remembrance while you used to laugh at them |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar But you took them to yourselves as a laughing-stock until they caused you to forget My Remembrance and you had been laughing at them |
| Dr Munir Munshey But you made them targets of ridicule. You mocked and scoffed at them with such intensity that it even made you forget Me (and My message) |
