﴿وَأَمۡطَرۡنَا عَلَيۡهِم مَّطَرٗاۖ فَسَآءَ مَطَرُ ٱلۡمُنذَرِينَ ﴾
[الشعراء: 173]
﴿وأمطرنا عليهم مطرا فساء مطر المنذرين﴾ [الشعراء: 173]
| Dr Kamal Omar And We rained on them a rain (of torment). Then evil became the rain to those who were warned (in advance) |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar and We rained down on them a rain. And how evil was the rain for the ones who are warned |
| Dr Munir Munshey We doused them with a downpour (of brimstone)! A devastating evil rain (fell) upon those forewarned |
| Edward Henry Palmer and we rained down upon them a rain; and evil was the rain of those who were warned |
