﴿فَفَرَرۡتُ مِنكُمۡ لَمَّا خِفۡتُكُمۡ فَوَهَبَ لِي رَبِّي حُكۡمٗا وَجَعَلَنِي مِنَ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ ﴾
[الشعراء: 21]
﴿ففررت منكم لما خفتكم فوهب لي ربي حكما وجعلني من المرسلين﴾ [الشعراء: 21]
| Dr Kamal Omar So I fled from you when I feared you. Then my Nourisher-Sustainer bestowed me Hukman (‘Verdict, Order or Ordainment’. This is an attribute for Allah’s Book) and appointed me (as one) of the Messengers |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar So I ran away from you when I feared you. Then, my Lord bestowed on me critical judgment and made me among the ones who are sent |
