﴿لَأُعَذِّبَنَّهُۥ عَذَابٗا شَدِيدًا أَوۡ لَأَاْذۡبَحَنَّهُۥٓ أَوۡ لَيَأۡتِيَنِّي بِسُلۡطَٰنٖ مُّبِينٖ ﴾
[النَّمل: 21]
﴿لأعذبنه عذابا شديدا أو لأذبحنه أو ليأتيني بسلطان مبين﴾ [النَّمل: 21]
| Dr Kamal Omar I will surely punish him with a severe punishment, or I will surely slaughter him, or he must return to me with some convincing reasoning.” |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar I will, certainly, punish him with a severe punishment or deal a death blow to it unless it brings me a clear authority |
| Dr Munir Munshey Unless he gives me a valid reason (for his absence), I will either inflict a severe punishment on him, or just slit his throat |
