﴿وَلَقَدۡ أَرۡسَلۡنَا نُوحًا إِلَىٰ قَوۡمِهِۦ فَلَبِثَ فِيهِمۡ أَلۡفَ سَنَةٍ إِلَّا خَمۡسِينَ عَامٗا فَأَخَذَهُمُ ٱلطُّوفَانُ وَهُمۡ ظَٰلِمُونَ ﴾
[العَنكبُوت: 14]
﴿ولقد أرسلنا نوحا إلى قومه فلبث فيهم ألف سنة إلا خمسين عاما﴾ [العَنكبُوت: 14]
| Dr Kamal Omar And truly, indeed We sent Nuh to his nation, so he stayed among them a thousand years less (by only) fifty years; then the Deluge overtook them while they were transgressors |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar And, certainly, We sent Noah to his folk and he lingered in expectation among them a thousand years less fifty years. And the Deluge took them while they were the ones who are unjust |
