﴿وَقَالُواْ لَوۡلَآ أُنزِلَ عَلَيۡهِ ءَايَٰتٞ مِّن رَّبِّهِۦۚ قُلۡ إِنَّمَا ٱلۡأٓيَٰتُ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ وَإِنَّمَآ أَنَا۠ نَذِيرٞ مُّبِينٌ ﴾
[العَنكبُوت: 50]
﴿وقالوا لولا أنـزل عليه آيات من ربه قل إنما الآيات عند الله﴾ [العَنكبُوت: 50]
| Dr Kamal Omar And they said: “Why not have been sent down unto him miracle-credentials from his Nourisher-Sustainer?” Say: “Certainly, what (is a fact is that) the miracle-credentials lie with Allah; and surely what (is a fact is that) I am (only) a plain warner.” |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar And they said: Why were signs not caused to descend to him from his Lord? Say: The signs are only with God. I am only a warner, one who makes clear |
