﴿وَمَا كَانَ لِنَبِيٍّ أَن يَغُلَّۚ وَمَن يَغۡلُلۡ يَأۡتِ بِمَا غَلَّ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِۚ ثُمَّ تُوَفَّىٰ كُلُّ نَفۡسٖ مَّا كَسَبَتۡ وَهُمۡ لَا يُظۡلَمُونَ ﴾
[آل عِمران: 161]
﴿وما كان لنبي أن يغل ومن يغلل يأت بما غل يوم القيامة﴾ [آل عِمران: 161]
Dr Kamal Omar And it is not for a Prophet that he breaches trust. And one who breaches trust, shall restore what ever he breached on the Day of Resurrection. Then shall be paid in full every soul what she earned — and they shall not be dealt with unjustly |
Dr Laleh Bakhtiar It had not been for a Prophet that he defraud. And whoever defrauds, what he defrauded will approach him on the Day of Resurrection. Again, the account will be paid in full of every soul for what he earned and they will not be wronged |
Dr Munir Munshey It is not (possible) for a Prophet to deceive (anyone) ever. Whoever cheats and defrauds (others) will, on the Day of Judgment, bring (and carry the burden of) his deceit with him. Each one will then be paid in full for everything he had earned. No one will be wronged at all |

George Sale It is not the part of a prophet to defraud, for he who defraudeth, shall bring with him what he hath defrauded any one of, on the day of the resurrection. Then shall every soul be paid what he hath gained; and they shall not be treated unjustly |
Maududi It is not for a Prophet to defraud; and whoever defrauds shall bring with him the fruits of his fraud on the Day of Resurrection, when every human being shall be paid in full what he has earned, and shall not be wronged |
