﴿فَتَقَبَّلَهَا رَبُّهَا بِقَبُولٍ حَسَنٖ وَأَنۢبَتَهَا نَبَاتًا حَسَنٗا وَكَفَّلَهَا زَكَرِيَّاۖ كُلَّمَا دَخَلَ عَلَيۡهَا زَكَرِيَّا ٱلۡمِحۡرَابَ وَجَدَ عِندَهَا رِزۡقٗاۖ قَالَ يَٰمَرۡيَمُ أَنَّىٰ لَكِ هَٰذَاۖ قَالَتۡ هُوَ مِنۡ عِندِ ٱللَّهِۖ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَرۡزُقُ مَن يَشَآءُ بِغَيۡرِ حِسَابٍ ﴾
[آل عِمران: 37]
﴿فتقبلها ربها بقبول حسن وأنبتها نباتا حسنا وكفلها زكريا كلما دخل عليها﴾ [آل عِمران: 37]
| Dr Kamal Omar So her Benefactor accepted her, with a gracious acceptance. And He made her grow in a graceful growth and He placed her under the guardianship of Zakariyya. Every time Zakariyya entered Al-Mihrab to (meet) her, he found in her possession sustenance. He said: “O Maryam! From where, for you (is made available all) this?” She said: “It (has come) from the possession of Allah. Verily, Allah provides sustenance whom He thinks proper, without limit.” |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar So her Lord received her with the very best acceptance. And her bringing forth caused the very best to develop in her. And Zechariah took charge of her. Whenever Zechariah entered upon her in her sanctuary, he found her with provision. He said: O Mary! From where is this for thee (f)? She said: This is from God. Truly, God provides to whom He wills without reckoning |

Whenever Zakariah visited her in the sanctuary, he found her well supplied with food. He would ask, "Oh Mary! Where did you get this?" She said, "This is from Allah. Indeed Allah provides unrestricted sustenance to whomever He wants |

And Zacharias took care of the child; whenever Zacharias went into the chamber to her, he found provisions with her: And he said, O Mary, whence hadst thou this? She answered, this is from God: For God provideth for whom he pleaseth without measure |
| Maududi Thereupon her Lord graciously accepted Mary and vouchsafed to her a goodly growth and placed her in the care of Zechariah. Whenever Zechariah visited her in the sanctuary, he found her provided with food. He asked her: ´O Mary, how did this come to you?´ She said: ´It is from Allah. Allah provides sustenance to whom He wills beyond all reckoning.´ |
