﴿إِذۡ قَالَتِ ٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ يَٰمَرۡيَمُ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُبَشِّرُكِ بِكَلِمَةٖ مِّنۡهُ ٱسۡمُهُ ٱلۡمَسِيحُ عِيسَى ٱبۡنُ مَرۡيَمَ وَجِيهٗا فِي ٱلدُّنۡيَا وَٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ وَمِنَ ٱلۡمُقَرَّبِينَ ﴾
[آل عِمران: 45]
﴿إذ قالت الملائكة يامريم إن الله يبشرك بكلمة منه اسمه المسيح عيسى﴾ [آل عِمران: 45]
Dr Kamal Omar (Now ponder over another incident) When the angels said: “O Maryam! Allah gives you the glad news of a Statement proceeding from Him, his name (would be) Al-Maseeh, Iesa, son of Maryam, (becoming) highly honoured in this world and the Hereafter and out of those who are in nearness (to Allah) |
Dr Laleh Bakhtiar Mention when the angels said: O Mary! Truly, God gives thee (f) good tidings of a Word from Him. His name is the Messiah—Jesus son of Mary—well-esteemed in the present and the world to come and among the ones who are brought near |

Maududi And when the angels said: ´O Mary! Allah gives you the glad tidings of a command from Him: his name shall be Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary. He shall be highly honoured in this world and in the Next, and shall be one of those near stationed to Allah |
