﴿أَلَمۡ تَرَ أَنَّ ٱلۡفُلۡكَ تَجۡرِي فِي ٱلۡبَحۡرِ بِنِعۡمَتِ ٱللَّهِ لِيُرِيَكُم مِّنۡ ءَايَٰتِهِۦٓۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَٰتٖ لِّكُلِّ صَبَّارٖ شَكُورٖ ﴾
[لُقمَان: 31]
﴿ألم تر أن الفلك تجري في البحر بنعمة الله ليريكم من آياته﴾ [لُقمَان: 31]
| Dr Kamal Omar Don’t you see that the ship sails through the sea by Allah’s Grace — so that He may make you see of His Signs? Verily, in this are surely signs for all those who are perseverant, grateful ones |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar Hast thou not considered that the boats run through the sea by the divine blessing of God that He causes you to see His signs? Truly in that are signs for every enduring, grateful one |
| Dr Munir Munshey Do you not observe? It is due to His favor, and in order to show you His signs, that the ships sail on the sea. In that are surely signs for every steadfast and grateful person |
