﴿أَمۡ يَقُولُونَ ٱفۡتَرَىٰهُۚ بَلۡ هُوَ ٱلۡحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّكَ لِتُنذِرَ قَوۡمٗا مَّآ أَتَىٰهُم مِّن نَّذِيرٖ مِّن قَبۡلِكَ لَعَلَّهُمۡ يَهۡتَدُونَ ﴾
[السَّجدة: 3]
﴿أم يقولون افتراه بل هو الحق من ربك لتنذر قوما ما أتاهم﴾ [السَّجدة: 3]
| Dr Kamal Omar Do they say he has forged it? Nay, it is Al-Haqq from your Nourisher-Sustainer, in order that you may warn a nation to whom no warner has come before you, so that they may receive guidance |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar Or they say: He devised it. Nay! It is The Truth from thy Lord that thou warnest a folk to whom no warner approached them before thee, so that perhaps they will be truly guided |
| Dr Munir Munshey Do they say he has made it all up? On the contrary, it is the absolute truth from your Lord! (It is revealed) in order to warn the nation among whom no warner had come before you. Perhaps they will find their way |

| Maududi Or do they say: "He has fabricated it?" Nay, it is the Truth from your Lord so that you may warn a people to whom no warner came before you; perhaps they will be guided to the Right Way |
