﴿ذَٰلِكَ جَزَيۡنَٰهُم بِمَا كَفَرُواْۖ وَهَلۡ نُجَٰزِيٓ إِلَّا ٱلۡكَفُورَ ﴾
[سَبإ: 17]
﴿ذلك جزيناهم بما كفروا وهل نجازي إلا الكفور﴾ [سَبإ: 17]
| Dr Kamal Omar This (was the way) We recompensed them because they disbelieved. And do We recompense (this way) — except the ungrateful disbelievers |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar That is how We gave recompense to them because they were ungrateful. And we recompense, but the ungrateful |
| Dr Munir Munshey In this manner, We punished them for their ingratitude (and their disbelief). Do We not inflict such punishment only upon the ungrateful ones |
