﴿قُل لَّكُم مِّيعَادُ يَوۡمٖ لَّا تَسۡتَـٔۡخِرُونَ عَنۡهُ سَاعَةٗ وَلَا تَسۡتَقۡدِمُونَ ﴾
[سَبإ: 30]
﴿قل لكم ميعاد يوم لا تستأخرون عنه ساعة ولا تستقدمون﴾ [سَبإ: 30]
| Dr Kamal Omar Say: “The appointment to you is for a Day you shall not detain yourselves regarding it by an hour, and you shall not advance (your arrival) |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar Say: Yours is the solemn declaration of a Day which you delay not for an hour nor press forward |
| Dr Munir Munshey Say, "You have an appointment (with Allah) on that Day. You cannot hasten it, nor put it off _ not even for an hour |
| Edward Henry Palmer say, 'For you is the appointment of a day of which ye shall not keep back an hour nor shall ye bring it on |
| Farook Malik Tell them: "For you the appointment of a day is fixed, which you can neither postpone for a moment nor bring it early |
