This is also an attribute for Allah’s Permanent Scripture]: that you standup for Allah in pairs and singly, (and) then ponder — there is no fanaticism in your companion. He is not but a warner unto you between the two hands (i.e., in face of) a severe torment.” |
Dr Laleh Bakhtiar Say: I admonish you in but one thing: That you stand up for God by twos and one by one. Again, reflect. There is not in your companion any madness. He is only a warner to you of a severe punishment in advance of you |
Dr Munir Munshey Say, "I have this piece of advice for you. For the sake of Allah, give it some thought. Ponder (calmly) about this matter _ alone or with someone. Maududi Say to them, (O Prophet): "I give you but one counsel: stand up (for heaven´s sake), singly and in pairs, and then think: what is it in your companion (to wit, Muhammad) that could be deemed as madness?" He is nothing but a warner, warning you before the coming of a grevious chastisement |
