﴿إِنَّهُمۡ كَانُوٓاْ إِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمۡ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُ يَسۡتَكۡبِرُونَ ﴾
[الصَّافَات: 35]
﴿إنهم كانوا إذا قيل لهم لا إله إلا الله يستكبرون﴾ [الصَّافَات: 35]
| Dr Kamal Omar Truly they, when it was said to them: “La ilaha-ill-Allah [(there is) no god except Allah]”, they used to show stubborn arrogance |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar Truly, when it had been said to them: There is no god but God, they grow arrogant |
