﴿إِنَّ هَٰذَآ أَخِي لَهُۥ تِسۡعٞ وَتِسۡعُونَ نَعۡجَةٗ وَلِيَ نَعۡجَةٞ وَٰحِدَةٞ فَقَالَ أَكۡفِلۡنِيهَا وَعَزَّنِي فِي ٱلۡخِطَابِ ﴾
[صٓ: 23]
﴿إن هذا أخي له تسع وتسعون نعجة ولي نعجة واحدة فقال أكفلنيها﴾ [صٓ: 23]
| Dr Kamal Omar Verily, this is my brother; unto him are nine plus ninety ewes, while for me, one ewe (only). But he said: ' Hand over its control to me,' and he had been harsh to me in speech |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar Truly, this is my brother. He has ninety-nine ewe, while I have one ewe. And he said: Place it in my charge and he triumphed over me in argument |
