Quran with Tafsir_English translation - Surah Fussilat ayat 15 - فُصِّلَت - Page - Juz 24
﴿فَأَمَّا عَادٞ فَٱسۡتَكۡبَرُواْ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ بِغَيۡرِ ٱلۡحَقِّ وَقَالُواْ مَنۡ أَشَدُّ مِنَّا قُوَّةًۖ أَوَلَمۡ يَرَوۡاْ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ ٱلَّذِي خَلَقَهُمۡ هُوَ أَشَدُّ مِنۡهُمۡ قُوَّةٗۖ وَكَانُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا يَجۡحَدُونَ ﴾
[فُصِّلَت: 15]
﴿فأما عاد فاستكبروا في الأرض بغير الحق وقالوا من أشد منا قوة﴾ [فُصِّلَت: 15]
| Dr Kamal Omar So, as for ’Ad (people) — so they indulged in arrogance in the land without right and they uttered: “Who is mightier than us in strength?” See they not then, that Allah Who has created them — He (was and is) mightier than them in strength. And they used to argue and dispute regarding Ayaatina |
