﴿أَمۡ ءَاتَيۡنَٰهُمۡ كِتَٰبٗا مِّن قَبۡلِهِۦ فَهُم بِهِۦ مُسۡتَمۡسِكُونَ ﴾
[الزُّخرُف: 21]
﴿أم آتيناهم كتابا من قبله فهم به مستمسكون﴾ [الزُّخرُف: 21]
| Dr Kamal Omar Have We delivered them a Book before this (Al-Kitab), then they are those who are attached to it |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar Or gave We them any Book before this so they are ones who hold fast to it |
| Dr Munir Munshey Prior to this, had We (ever) revealed to them a book (as an authority), to which they cling so adamantly |
| Edward Henry Palmer Have we given them a book before it to which they might hold |
| Farook Malik Or have We given them a Book before this to which they hold authority for their angel-worshipping |
| George Sale Have We given them a book of revelations before this; and do they keep the same in their custody |
| Maududi Or did We bestow upon them a Book before on whose authority they are holding on (to angel-worship) |
