﴿۞ جَعَلَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلۡكَعۡبَةَ ٱلۡبَيۡتَ ٱلۡحَرَامَ قِيَٰمٗا لِّلنَّاسِ وَٱلشَّهۡرَ ٱلۡحَرَامَ وَٱلۡهَدۡيَ وَٱلۡقَلَٰٓئِدَۚ ذَٰلِكَ لِتَعۡلَمُوٓاْ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَعۡلَمُ مَا فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ بِكُلِّ شَيۡءٍ عَلِيمٌ ﴾
[المَائدة: 97]
﴿جعل الله الكعبة البيت الحرام قياما للناس والشهر الحرام والهدي والقلائد ذلك﴾ [المَائدة: 97]
| Dr Kamal Omar Allah has established the Ka’ba, the Sacred, protected and prohibited House as an Asylum and Rendesvous for mankind (for Hajj, Umra, Tawaf and Salat) and the protected month, and Al-Hadiya, and the garlands (that encircle the necks of gift-animals that are proceeding to the Ka’ba). This, (He has done) that you may know that Allah knows what is in the heavens and what is in the earth, and that Allah is All-Knower of each and every thing. [If one performs pre-Hajj Umra in Hajj-season and also attends Hajj, or breaks certain prohibitions related to Harem, Umra and Hajj, he has to offer animal-sacrifice] |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar God made the Kabah the Sacred House, maintaining it for humanity and the Sacred Month and the sacrificial gift and the garlanded. That is so that you will know that God knows whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in and on the earth and that God is Knowing of everything |
| Dr Munir Munshey Allah has appointed the ´Kaaba´, the hallowed House, as a symbol (of solidarity and security) for (all) mankind, and (it is He Who has appointed) the sacred month, the sacrificial animals, and the animals garlanded as a mark of offering (at the ´Kaaba´). Thus, you would know that Allah is well aware of all that exists in the heavens and on earth. Allah has the (complete and comprehensive) knowledge of every (single) thing |
