﴿وَإِن يَرَوۡاْ كِسۡفٗا مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ سَاقِطٗا يَقُولُواْ سَحَابٞ مَّرۡكُومٞ ﴾
[الطُّور: 44]
﴿وإن يروا كسفا من السماء ساقطا يقولوا سحاب مركوم﴾ [الطُّور: 44]
| Dr Kamal Omar And if they watch a piece as one falling down from towards the sky, they will say: “Clouds, piled-up!” |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar And if they consider pieces of the heaven descending, they would say: Heaped up clouds |
| Dr Munir Munshey (Even) if they saw a part of the sky falling down, they would (merely) say, "(It is only) a heap of clouds |
| Edward Henry Palmer But if they should see a fragment of the sky falling down, they would say, 'Clouds in masses |
| Farook Malik They are such people that, even if they will see a part of heaven falling down, they would say: "It is but a mass of clouds |
| George Sale If they should see a fragment of the heaven falling down upon them, they would say, it is only a thick cloud |
| Maududi (So obstinate are they that) even if they were to see some fragments of the sky falling down they would still say: "It is only a mass of cloud |
