﴿مُتَّكِـِٔينَ عَلَىٰ فُرُشِۭ بَطَآئِنُهَا مِنۡ إِسۡتَبۡرَقٖۚ وَجَنَى ٱلۡجَنَّتَيۡنِ دَانٖ ﴾
[الرَّحمٰن: 54]
﴿متكئين على فرش بطائنها من إستبرق وجنى الجنتين دان﴾ [الرَّحمٰن: 54]
| Dr Kamal Omar (Those who have entered Paradise are) recliners on the carpets whose under-lining (is made) of silk-brocade; and the product of the two orchards being very close, easy of reach |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar Ones who are reclining on places of restfulness the inner linings of which are of brocade. And the fruit plucked from trees while fresh, that which draws near from the two Gardens |
| Dr Munir Munshey (The righteous) would recline on (exotic) carpets lined with lush brocade. (Loaded with plentiful fruit), the branches of fruit trees would hang low, within easy reach |
| Edward Henry Palmer Reclining on beds the linings of which are of brocade, and the fruit of the two gardens within reach to cull |
| Farook Malik They will recline on couches upholstered with rich brocade while the fruit of the gardens will be within their easy reach |
