﴿مُّتَّكِـِٔينَ عَلَيۡهَا مُتَقَٰبِلِينَ ﴾
[الوَاقِعة: 16]
﴿متكئين عليها متقابلين﴾ [الوَاقِعة: 16]
| Dr Kamal Omar (as) those who recline thereon (and as) those who sit in front of one another |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar ones who are reclining on them, ones who are facing one another |
| Dr Munir Munshey They would recline (on their thrones), facing each other |
