﴿هُوَ ٱلَّذِي بَعَثَ فِي ٱلۡأُمِّيِّـۧنَ رَسُولٗا مِّنۡهُمۡ يَتۡلُواْ عَلَيۡهِمۡ ءَايَٰتِهِۦ وَيُزَكِّيهِمۡ وَيُعَلِّمُهُمُ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ وَٱلۡحِكۡمَةَ وَإِن كَانُواْ مِن قَبۡلُ لَفِي ضَلَٰلٖ مُّبِينٖ ﴾
[الجُمعَة: 2]
﴿هو الذي بعث في الأميين رسولا منهم يتلو عليهم آياته ويزكيهم ويعلمهم﴾ [الجُمعَة: 2]
| Dr Kamal Omar He it is Who raised amongst Al-Ummiyyun a Messenger from among themselves. He reproduces unto them His Ayaat, and he purifies them, and he teaches the knowledge of Al-Kitab and Al-Hikmah even if they remained in manifest error before |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar He it is Who raised up among the unlettered a Messenger from among them who recounts His signs to them and makes them pure and teaches them the Book and wisdom even though they had been before certainly, clearly going astray |
| Dr Munir Munshey He it is, Who raised in an unlettered nation a messenger in their midst, the one who recites to them His verses, cleanses and purifies them, and teaches them the book and the wisdom. Prior to that, they were clearly lost and astray |
