﴿ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمۡ ءَامَنُواْ ثُمَّ كَفَرُواْ فَطُبِعَ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمۡ فَهُمۡ لَا يَفۡقَهُونَ ﴾
[المُنَافِقُونَ: 3]
﴿ذلك بأنهم آمنوا ثم كفروا فطبع على قلوبهم فهم لا يفقهون﴾ [المُنَافِقُونَ: 3]
| Dr Kamal Omar That (is the situation) because they accepted Faith, later on they rejected belief; then a seal got fixed on their hearts, so they do not think or understand |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar That is because they believed and, again, disbelieved, so a seal was set on their hearts so they understand not |
| Dr Munir Munshey This is so because they believed (at first), and then went back to disbelieving. (Now), their hearts have been sealed and they do not comprehend |
