﴿ذَٰلِكَ أَمۡرُ ٱللَّهِ أَنزَلَهُۥٓ إِلَيۡكُمۡۚ وَمَن يَتَّقِ ٱللَّهَ يُكَفِّرۡ عَنۡهُ سَيِّـَٔاتِهِۦ وَيُعۡظِمۡ لَهُۥٓ أَجۡرًا ﴾
[الطَّلَاق: 5]
﴿ذلك أمر الله أنـزله إليكم ومن يتق الله يكفر عنه سيئاته ويعظم﴾ [الطَّلَاق: 5]
| Dr Kamal Omar This is the Ordainment of Allah, He has made it available unto you. And whoever pays obedience to Allah, He will write off from him his sins and will enlarge for him (his) reward |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar That is the command of God which He caused to descend to you. And whoever is Godfearing of God, He will absolve him of his evil deeds and will enhance for him a compensation |
| Dr Munir Munshey This is the commandment of Allah; He has revealed it to you. Whoever fears Him (and practices righteousness and restraint), Allah will cleanse him of his sins (and rid him of his faults and flaws); and Allah will magnify his rewards |
| Edward Henry Palmer That is God's command, He has sent it down to you; and whosoever fears God He will cover for him his offences and will make grand for him his hire |
| Farook Malik This is the command of Allah which He has sent down to you. He that fears Allah, will have his sins removed and his reward enlarged |
| George Sale This is the command of God, which He hath sent down unto you. And whoso feareth God, He will expiate his evil deeds from him, and will increase his reward |
| Maududi This is the commandment of Allah that He has revealed to you. Whoever fears Allah, He will expunge his evil deeds and will richly reward him |
