﴿قَالُواْ سُبۡحَٰنَ رَبِّنَآ إِنَّا كُنَّا ظَٰلِمِينَ ﴾
[القَلَم: 29]
﴿قالوا سبحان ربنا إنا كنا ظالمين﴾ [القَلَم: 29]
| Dr Kamal Omar They said: “Glory be to our Nourisher-Sustainer! Surely we, we (ourselves) had been transgressors.” |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar They said: Glory be to God, our Lord! Truly, we had been ones who are unjust |
| Dr Munir Munshey They said, "Exalted is our Lord. In fact, we were the wrongdoers |
| Edward Henry Palmer Said they, 'Celebrated be the praises of our Lord! verily, we were unjust |
| Farook Malik Then they said: "Glory be to our Lord! Surely we were unjust |
| George Sale They answered, praise be unto our Lord! Verily we have been unjust doers |
| Maududi They cried out: "Glory be to our Lord! Certainly we were sinners |
