﴿فَلَمَّا كَشَفۡنَا عَنۡهُمُ ٱلرِّجۡزَ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٍ هُم بَٰلِغُوهُ إِذَا هُمۡ يَنكُثُونَ ﴾
[الأعرَاف: 135]
﴿فلما كشفنا عنهم الرجز إلى أجل هم بالغوه إذا هم ينكثون﴾ [الأعرَاف: 135]
| Dr Kamal Omar So whenever We removed from them Ar-Rijz for a fixed term (to allow them to arrange and complete the migration of the Muslim-community, and as) they reached it (i.e., they approached the end of the respite-period), immediately they break (the commitment, and extend the enslavement period for the Believers) |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar But when We removed the wrath from them for a term, that which is conclusive, they break their oath |
| Dr Munir Munshey But as We eased away the torment for awhile to let them redeem themselves, they always failed to keep their promise |
