﴿وَإِذۡ تَأَذَّنَ رَبُّكَ لَيَبۡعَثَنَّ عَلَيۡهِمۡ إِلَىٰ يَوۡمِ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ مَن يَسُومُهُمۡ سُوٓءَ ٱلۡعَذَابِۗ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَسَرِيعُ ٱلۡعِقَابِ وَإِنَّهُۥ لَغَفُورٞ رَّحِيمٞ ﴾
[الأعرَاف: 167]
﴿وإذ تأذن ربك ليبعثن عليهم إلى يوم القيامة من يسومهم سوء العذاب﴾ [الأعرَاف: 167]
| Dr Kamal Omar And when your Nourisher-Sustainer announced that He would certainly keep on sending against them, till the Day of Resurrection, those who would afflict them a humiliating punishment. Verily, your Nourisher-Sustainer is surely quick in retribution; and certainly He is indeed Oft-Forgiving, continuously Merciful |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar And mention when thy Lord caused to be proclaimed that He would, surely, raise up against them until the Day of Resurrection who cause an affliction to befall on them of a dire punishment. Truly, thy Lord is Swift in repayment. And, truly, He is Forgiving, Compassionate |
