﴿مَن يَهۡدِ ٱللَّهُ فَهُوَ ٱلۡمُهۡتَدِيۖ وَمَن يُضۡلِلۡ فَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلۡخَٰسِرُونَ ﴾
[الأعرَاف: 178]
﴿من يهد الله فهو المهتدي ومن يضلل فأولئك هم الخاسرون﴾ [الأعرَاف: 178]
| Dr Kamal Omar Whomsoever Allah guides, so he (becomes) the guided and whomsoever He sends astray, then they: they very ones are those who lose |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar Whomever God guides, then, he is one who is truly guided. And whomever He causes to go astray, then, those, they are the ones who are losers |
| Dr Munir Munshey Rightly guided is the one whom Allah guides. While those whom Allah misleads are in fact the real losers |
| Edward Henry Palmer Whoever Allah guides - he is the [rightly] guided; and whoever He sends astray - it is those who are the losers |
| Farook Malik Only he whom Allah guides is rightly guided; and whom He confounds will become the losers |
| George Sale He whom God guides, is on the right path. And they whom He leaves in error, these it is who shall be the losers |
| Maududi He whom Allah guides, he alone is rightly guided; and he whom Allah lets go astray - it is they who are the loser.´ |
