﴿فَتَوَلَّىٰ عَنۡهُمۡ وَقَالَ يَٰقَوۡمِ لَقَدۡ أَبۡلَغۡتُكُمۡ رِسَٰلَٰتِ رَبِّي وَنَصَحۡتُ لَكُمۡۖ فَكَيۡفَ ءَاسَىٰ عَلَىٰ قَوۡمٖ كَٰفِرِينَ ﴾
[الأعرَاف: 93]
﴿فتولى عنهم وقال ياقوم لقد أبلغتكم رسالات ربي ونصحت لكم فكيف آسى﴾ [الأعرَاف: 93]
Dr Kamal Omar Then he (Shu’aib) bypassed them and said: “O my nation! Certainly I conveyed to you the Messages of my Nourisher-Sustainer and gave you sincere advice. Then how I feel sorry for the nation of disbelievers.” |
Dr Laleh Bakhtiar So he turned away from them and said: O my folk! Certainly, I expressed to you the messages of my Lord and I advised you. Then, how should I grieve for a folk, ones who are ungrateful |

Maududi Shu´ayb then departed from his people, and said: ´0 my people! Surely I conveyed to you the message of my Lord, and gave you sincere advice. How, then, can I mourn for a people who refuse to accept the truth?´ |
