﴿إِنَّآ أَرۡسَلۡنَا نُوحًا إِلَىٰ قَوۡمِهِۦٓ أَنۡ أَنذِرۡ قَوۡمَكَ مِن قَبۡلِ أَن يَأۡتِيَهُمۡ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٞ ﴾
[نُوح: 1]
﴿إنا أرسلنا نوحا إلى قومه أن أنذر قومك من قبل أن يأتيهم﴾ [نُوح: 1]
| Dr Kamal Omar Verily, We, We sent Nuh to his nation (saying) that: “Warn your nation prior to (the stage) that comes to them a painful torment.” |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar Truly, We sent Noah to his folk saying: Warn thy folk before a painful punishment approaches them |
| Dr Munir Munshey Indeed, We sent Nooh towards his people (and said to him), "Warn your people before (it is too late, and) a painful punishment befalls them |
| Edward Henry Palmer Verily, we sent Noah to his people, 'Warn thy people before there come to them a grievous torment |
