﴿وَلَا يَحۡسَبَنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ سَبَقُوٓاْۚ إِنَّهُمۡ لَا يُعۡجِزُونَ ﴾
[الأنفَال: 59]
﴿ولا يحسبن الذين كفروا سبقوا إنهم لا يعجزون﴾ [الأنفَال: 59]
| Dr Kamal Omar And must not assess those who have disbelieved that they have gone forward (and won). Surely, they will not frustrate (any of the Divine Plans) |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar Assume thou not that those who were ungrateful will outdo Me. Truly, they will never weaken Him |
| Dr Munir Munshey Let the unbelievers not think that they can (outrun and) escape. Of course, they cannot frustrate (Allah) |
| Edward Henry Palmer Deem not that those who misbelieve can win; verily, they cannot make (God) powerless |
| Farook Malik Let not the unbelievers think that they have won the game; surely they can never frustrate the believers |
| George Sale And think not that the unbelievers have escaped God's vengeance, for they shall not weaken the power of God |
| Maududi Let not the deniers of the truth be deluded that they will gain any advantage. Surely, they, can never overcome Us |
