Quran with British translation - Surah Yusuf ayat 52 - يُوسُف - Page - Juz 12
﴿ذَٰلِكَ لِيَعۡلَمَ أَنِّي لَمۡ أَخُنۡهُ بِٱلۡغَيۡبِ وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَهۡدِي كَيۡدَ ٱلۡخَآئِنِينَ ﴾
[يُوسُف: 52]
﴿ذلك ليعلم أني لم أخنه بالغيب وأن الله لا يهدي كيد الخائنين﴾ [يُوسُف: 52]
Mohammad Habib Shakir This is that he might know that I have not been unfaithful to him in secret and that Allah does not guide the device of the unfaithful |
Mohammad Shafi This is to let him (Joseph) know that I have not betrayed him behind his back and that Allah guides not the scheme of the betrayers |
Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (Then Joseph said: I asked for) this, that he (my lord) may know that I betrayed him not in secret, and that surely Allah guideth not the snare of the betrayers |
Mufti Taqi Usmani (Then Yūsuf said), “That was because he (the governor) may know that I did not betray him in his absence, and that Allah does not lead the guile of betrayers to success |
