﴿قَالُواْ فَمَا جَزَٰٓؤُهُۥٓ إِن كُنتُمۡ كَٰذِبِينَ ﴾
[يُوسُف: 74]
﴿قالوا فما جزاؤه إن كنتم كاذبين﴾ [يُوسُف: 74]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir They said: But what shall be the requital of this, if you are liars |
| Mohammad Shafi The men asked, "But what should be the punishment for this, if you happen to be lying |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall They said: And what shall be the penalty for it, if ye prove liars |
| Mufti Taqi Usmani They said, “What is the punishment, if you are liars?” |
| Muhammad Asad [The Egyptians] said: "But what shall be the requital of this [deed] if you are [proved to be] liars |
| Muhammad Mahmoud Ghali They said, "Then what shall be the recompense of this, in case you are liars |
| Muhammad Sarwar The Egyptians said, "What do you suggest should be the punishment for the thief, if it is proved that you are lying |
| Muhammad Taqi Usmani They said, .What is the punishment, if you are liars |
| Mustafa Khattab Allah Edition Joseph’s men asked, “What should be the price for theft, if you are lying?” |

| N J Dawood They said: ‘What punishment shall be his, if you prove to be lying?‘ |
| Safi Kaskas [The Egyptians] said, "What will be the penalty for this [deed] if you are [proved to be] liars |
