Quran with British translation - Surah Yusuf ayat 8 - يُوسُف - Page - Juz 12
﴿إِذۡ قَالُواْ لَيُوسُفُ وَأَخُوهُ أَحَبُّ إِلَىٰٓ أَبِينَا مِنَّا وَنَحۡنُ عُصۡبَةٌ إِنَّ أَبَانَا لَفِي ضَلَٰلٖ مُّبِينٍ ﴾
[يُوسُف: 8]
﴿إذ قالوا ليوسف وأخوه أحب إلى أبينا منا ونحن عصبة إن أبانا﴾ [يُوسُف: 8]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir When they said: Certainly Yusuf and his brother are dearer to our father than we, though we are a (stronger) company; most surely our father is in manifest error |
| Mohammad Shafi When they said, "Certainly Joseph and his brother are dearer to our father than we. And we are more in number and strength. Our father is indeed making a manifest mistake |
