Quran with British translation - Surah Ar-Ra‘d ayat 40 - الرَّعد - Page - Juz 13
﴿وَإِن مَّا نُرِيَنَّكَ بَعۡضَ ٱلَّذِي نَعِدُهُمۡ أَوۡ نَتَوَفَّيَنَّكَ فَإِنَّمَا عَلَيۡكَ ٱلۡبَلَٰغُ وَعَلَيۡنَا ٱلۡحِسَابُ ﴾
[الرَّعد: 40]
﴿وإن ما نرينك بعض الذي نعدهم أو نتوفينك فإنما عليك البلاغ وعلينا﴾ [الرَّعد: 40]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir And We will either let you see part of what We threaten them with or cause you to die, for only the delivery of the message is (incumbent) on you, while calling (them) to account is Our (business) |
| Mohammad Shafi And whether We let you see part of what We promise them or We cause you to die before that, your responsibility is only the delivery of the divine Message, and it is for Us to call them to account |
