﴿فَجَعَلۡنَا عَٰلِيَهَا سَافِلَهَا وَأَمۡطَرۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمۡ حِجَارَةٗ مِّن سِجِّيلٍ ﴾
[الحِجر: 74]
﴿فجعلنا عاليها سافلها وأمطرنا عليهم حجارة من سجيل﴾ [الحِجر: 74]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir Thus did We turn it upside down, and rained down upon them stones of what had been decreed |
| Mohammad Shafi We turned the place upside down, and rained stones of baked clay upon the people |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall And We utterly confounded them, and We rained upon them stones of heated clay |
