﴿وَإِذَآ أَنۡعَمۡنَا عَلَى ٱلۡإِنسَٰنِ أَعۡرَضَ وَنَـَٔا بِجَانِبِهِۦ وَإِذَا مَسَّهُ ٱلشَّرُّ كَانَ يَـُٔوسٗا ﴾
[الإسرَاء: 83]
﴿وإذا أنعمنا على الإنسان أعرض ونأى بجانبه وإذا مسه الشر كان يئوسا﴾ [الإسرَاء: 83]
Mohammad Habib Shakir And when We bestow favor on man, he turns aside and behaves proudly, and when evil afflicts him, he is despairing |
Mohammad Shafi And when We bestow some favour on man, he keeps himself arrogantly aloof. And when anything bad happens to him, he is in despair |
