﴿ٱلَّذِينَ ضَلَّ سَعۡيُهُمۡ فِي ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡيَا وَهُمۡ يَحۡسَبُونَ أَنَّهُمۡ يُحۡسِنُونَ صُنۡعًا ﴾
[الكَهف: 104]
﴿الذين ضل سعيهم في الحياة الدنيا وهم يحسبون أنهم يحسنون صنعا﴾ [الكَهف: 104]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir (These are) they whose labor is lost in this world's life and they think that they are well versed in skill of the work of hands |
| Mohammad Shafi They are those whose efforts in the life of this world are misdirected and they think that they are doing good work |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall Those whose effort goeth astray in the life of the world, and yet they reckon that they do good work |
| Mufti Taqi Usmani Those are the ones whose effort in the worldly life has gone in vain, while they think they are doing well |
| Muhammad Asad [It is] they whose labour has gone astray in [the pursuit of no more than] this world's life, and who none the less think that they are doing good works |
