﴿وَإِنِّي خِفۡتُ ٱلۡمَوَٰلِيَ مِن وَرَآءِي وَكَانَتِ ٱمۡرَأَتِي عَاقِرٗا فَهَبۡ لِي مِن لَّدُنكَ وَلِيّٗا ﴾
[مَريَم: 5]
﴿وإني خفت الموالي من ورائي وكانت امرأتي عاقرا فهب لي من لدنك﴾ [مَريَم: 5]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir And surely I fear my cousins after me, and my wife is barren, therefore grant me from Thyself an heir |
| Mohammad Shafi And indeed I worry about what my relatives will do after me. And my wife is barren. So bestow upon me a proper heir from You |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall Lo! I fear my kinsfolk after me, since my wife is barren. Oh, give me from Thy presence a successor |
